I offer private, in-home piano lessons to both children and adults from beginner to intermediate level.

My background includes advanced musical theory and the study of multiple instruments through college. I have studied both classical and popular music, and believe it is important for the student to enjoy the music they are playing, so there is flexibility in what kind of music we can focus on. Depending on the student’s age and musical background, lessons will include basic theory along with song practice.

My current rate is $20 for a half hour lesson, or $35 for an hour. Weekly lessons are usually preferred. Books will not be provided, so you may choose your own or ask for recommendations. (If the student already has lesson books, we can continue with those for consistency.)
